Your account controls
In Account you can download your information, request deletion, withdraw optional interview sections, choose optional emails and stop subscription renewal. You can edit your private relationship review from Profile. The controls report failures so you can retry or contact support.
Signing in on another device
On a laptop or another browser, you can sign in with your phone. The other device shows a QR code and the same link as text. Open it on your phone, where you are signed in to I Can Wait with a passkey (Face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN). Your phone shows which device is asking, roughly where its internet connection is, and the time, then “Approve with Face ID” or “This wasn't me”. The location comes from that device's internet connection, so it can be wrong. Each code works once and lasts 2 minutes, only the device that showed it can collect the sign-in, and a sign-in made this way can never be used for administration. Approving inside the iPhone app is not supported yet: the link opens in Safari. See Privacy for what a request keeps and for how long.
What these measures mean
Verification can make mistakes. It does not establish someone’s intentions, relationship status or criminal history. Compatibility is an interpretation of answers, not a promise of safety or relationship success. I Can Wait does not claim independent legal or security certification, or membership of the voluntary Online Dating Code.
Changes in this update
We clarified age-review pictures and retention limits, added optional email preferences and unsubscribe links, and introduced a private relationship self-review. New founding membership is A$29.99 annually while continuously subscribed and I Can Wait operates; later membership is A$59.99 annually. Existing paid agreements retain their original rights. Membership will be sold only in the I Can Wait iPhone app, through Apple, once the app is on the App Store. The website does not take payment.
