What is not allowed

• Underage accounts, false age or identity information, impersonation and fake profiles.
• Nudity or sexual images, sexual messages someone has not welcomed, or promotion of sexual services.
• Grooming, sextortion and image-based abuse: building trust with a child or young person to exploit them, threatening to share intimate images unless someone pays or sends more, and sharing or threatening to share intimate images without consent, real or fake. Reported under its reason on the report form, any of these blocks the pair straight away, and a person reviews it and can suspend the account.
• Scams, requests for money, financial exploitation and unsolicited commercial promotions.
• Harassment, threats, stalking, hate or abusive behaviour.
• Bypassing age checks, another member’s block or an account suspension.

Checks and their limits

Members must complete our age-check process. Photos are checked automatically before publication and refused for nudity or sexual images, any child, or more than 3 people; if you think a refusal is wrong, ask for a check through Complaints and appeals. Automated checks can make mistakes; passing a check does not guarantee someone’s identity, intentions or safety. This is not a claim that all conversations are automatically scanned.

Report or block

Use Report or Block from a match or conversation. A successfully saved report enters the restricted moderator queue and closes the chat for the person who reported; they can still read it. A report of a threat or violence, intimate images shared or threatened without consent, someone who appears to be under 18, or sexual content involving a child also blocks contact between the pair straight away. If saving fails, follow the error message or contact [email protected]. Moderators can review relevant report evidence and reported profile photos. We never tell the person you report who reported them. They may be able to guess, for example if your conversation with them closes. See how report information is handled.

Review and decisions

Reports are reviewed by a human. When we finish looking at a report, we email the person who made it to say whether we took action, found no breach of our rules, or could not confirm what happened. We don't share details of what happens to another member's account. Depending on the evidence and severity, action may include restricting or suspending an account. You can make a complaint or appeal a decision. We do not promise a particular outcome or share another member’s private information with a reporter.
