Trust, safety and your choices
Terms and Conditions
These Terms take effect on 25 October 2026. Last updated 4 October 2026. · Governing law: South Australia, Australia.
Name changed 5 October 2026: Attune is now I Can Wait. Only the name and the words around it changed; your rights and our obligations did not.
By creating an account or using I Can Wait (formerly Attune), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Every member is asked to confirm this when they sign in, by ticking "I am 18 or over, and I agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy"; once you have, we ask again only after these Terms or the Privacy Policy change. Please read them carefully.
I Can Wait (formerly Attune) is a service of Robert Weeks AI Systems, the registered business name of Robert Weeks (ABN 41 104 020 501), South Australia. The I Can Wait website is icanwait.com.au (formerly attunematchmaking.com). In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Robert Weeks trading as Robert Weeks AI Systems. These Terms are the agreement between you and Robert Weeks.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- Age & Legal Capacity: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under South Australian law.
- Residence: I Can Wait is open only to people who live in Greater Adelaide, South Australia.
- Prior Restrictions: You must not have been removed from I Can Wait, or be under a current suspension.
- Account Limit: Strictly one account per individual. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
2. Service Scope & Safety Disclaimers
- Nature of the Service: I Can Wait interviews you, builds an algorithmic profile, and displays compatibility metrics with potential matches. Matches are automated profile suggestions based on user input, not professional advice, matchmaking guarantees, or endorsements.
- No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that you will find a match, establish a relationship, or that matches will meet your expectations.
- Verification Limits: Before introductions, I Can Wait requires an age check: a qualifying AI estimate, or human review of qualifying camera pictures or photo ID; or, if you can't use the camera check, a person checking your original photo ID in person or on a live video call. A requested licence photo is stored privately during review. We request deletion when the check is decided; failed cleanup is retried. See Privacy for retention and provider details. These checks may make mistakes and do not verify criminal histories, single status, intentions or safety. You interact with other users at your own risk. Exercise standard personal safety measures when communicating or meeting in person. See Safety.
3. Pricing, Payments & Refunds
- Launch & Waitlist: Our public launch is 25 October 2026, initially in Adelaide only. The waitlist is free and does not create an account, start a subscription, take payment or reserve a founding membership.
- Founding Member Rate: The first 10,000 paid members pay A$29.99 per year. Your place is secured when your first membership payment clears, not when you join the waitlist. The A$29.99 annual rate is locked for life while you remain continuously subscribed and I Can Wait continues to operate. This is an annually billed subscription, not a one-off lifetime payment. If your subscription ends and you rejoin later, you pay the rate on offer when you rejoin: A$29.99 while founding places remain, then A$59.99.
- Standard Membership: After the first 10,000 paid memberships, new members pay A$59.99 per year. Prices are in Australian dollars.
- Annual Billing & Automatic Renewal: Both plans are billed annually in advance and automatically renew every 12 months until cancelled before the renewal date. Your applicable annual price and renewal terms will be displayed before you agree to pay. The previously advertised A$21 one-off lifetime offer is no longer available for new memberships. This update does not change rights under any existing paid agreement.
- Cancellation: Apple bills your membership. Stop renewal in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple stops a renewal only if you cancel at least 24 hours before it is due. We cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you, but you can ask for help at [email protected]. Stopping renewal does not end your current paid period immediately. Your access continues until the end of that period, subject to these Terms and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
- Payment Processing: Memberships are sold only in the I Can Wait iPhone app and are charged to your Apple ID by Apple under Apple's terms. The website does not take payment. I Can Wait never stores your full card details.
- Australian Consumer Law (ACL) & Refunds: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy implied by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
- iPhone purchases: Apple processes payments and refunds, and you can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If I Can Wait fails to meet a consumer guarantee, putting it right is our responsibility, not Apple's: email [email protected] and we will fix it or refund you, paying you ourselves if Apple does not.
See our Refund Policy and steps to cancel membership renewal.
4. Code of Conduct
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. You promise that the information and documents you give us, including any photo ID for the age check, are true and your own, and you accept that we rely on what you provide. You must not:
- Harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or abuse any person.
- Impersonate any individual or entity, or lie about your age, identity, or location.
- Solicit money, promote commercial services, or broadcast advertisements.
- Scrape, crawl, automate, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass security, verification checks, another member's block, or account suspensions.
- Share or threaten to share anyone's personal details, such as their full name, address, workplace, phone number or photos, to intimidate or harass them (doxxing).
- Engage in grooming (building the trust of a child or young person in order to exploit them), sextortion (threatening to share intimate images of someone unless they pay or send more) or image-based abuse (sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images of someone without their consent, including altered or AI-generated ones). A report of any of these under its reason on the report form blocks contact straight away. We may suspend or close your account, and we may report the conduct to the police or the eSafety Commissioner.
- Post, send, ask for, store or share sexual material involving anyone under 18 (including drawn, altered or AI-made images), material that promotes, praises or gives instructions for terrorism, material showing extreme violence such as murder, torture or rape, or material that teaches or promotes crime, violence or illegal drug use. None of this is allowed on I Can Wait. If it happens, we may remove it, restrict, suspend or close your account, and report it to the police, the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) or the eSafety Commissioner.
Serious conduct or safety concerns may require immediate restriction or suspension. We will explain a decision where appropriate and offer the complaints and appeals process. Suspension does not remove any non-excludable consumer or refund rights. Our Community guidelines form part of these Terms.
5. Reporting & Emergency Disclaimer
Every match and conversation includes a report feature. Successfully saved reports enter the moderator queue and close the chat for the person who reported: they can still read it, but not send in it. A report of a threat or violence, intimate images shared or threatened without consent, someone who appears to be under 18, or sexual content involving a child also blocks the pair within I Can Wait straight away. Check the confirmation: connection or storage failures can prevent completion, and a report-limit response explains whether blocking succeeded when the new report was not saved. You can also block separately. Blocking cannot prevent contact outside I Can Wait. I Can Wait is not an emergency response service. If you are in immediate danger, contact 000 (Australia) or your local emergency services immediately.
6. Intellectual Property & User Content
You retain ownership of the text and media you upload ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to operate the matching platform. Other members never see your interview answers themselves: they see your first name, age, gender and city, your approved photos, a compatibility score, the reasons and caveats behind it, what you have in common, an overall intimacy compatibility level if you answered the optional intimacy section, and the messages you send them. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for limited retention or processing needed to handle open safety reports, legal obligations or recovery copies described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability & Warranties
We work to keep I Can Wait running and accurate, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, free of errors, secure against every attack or free from data loss, or that it will find you a match. Its checks and compatibility scores have the limits described in clause 2 and on the Safety page.
Nothing in this clause or elsewhere in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the guarantees that services are supplied with due care and skill and are fit for any purpose you make known to us.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South Australian law and the Australian Consumer Law:
- I Can Wait, its operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- We are not responsible for what other members choose to do, online or offline, except to the extent that our own negligence or breach of these Terms caused or contributed to the loss. This is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Account → Delete my account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to safety, or as required by law. If I Can Wait shuts down permanently, we will provide reasonable advance notice via your registered email.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia. Nothing here prevents you using a court, tribunal, regulator or complaint process available under applicable law. You can first contact us through Complaints and appeals.
11. Changes to Terms
We may change these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect, and say in plain words what changes.
If you do not accept a change, you can stop using I Can Wait, and cancel your membership in your Apple ID settings (iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions) before the change takes effect. You can ask Apple for a refund, and if I Can Wait has failed to meet a consumer guarantee, putting it right is our responsibility (clause 3). Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. You can also delete your account in Account.
When a change takes effect, we ask you to accept the new Terms at your next sign-in, by ticking "I am 18 or over, and I agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy". Changes to these Terms will not increase the A$29.99 annual rate for an eligible founding member who remains continuously subscribed.
